Polar bears are the longest and tallest species of bears in the world. Polar bear fur is made out of hollow clear tubes, so essentially they are not white. Polar bears bathe by rolling in the snow to get any dirt off. Polar bears do not hibernate like other bears do. They have such strong noses that they can smell a seal twenty miles away. Polar bears usually rest about twenty hours a day when they are not hunting.
